Victorian Silver Inkwell and Stand 1892

Description

This superb VICTORIAN SILVER DESK STAND was made by Rupert Favell, London in 1892.

Of double lozenge form with gadrooned rim and pierced gallery sides, this fabulous Double Inkwell & Stand is raised on claw feet and has two pineapple cut glass and silver mounted cylindrical inkwells, each with gadrooned rims.

In excellent condition with no added inscriptions, monograms or initials, this stunning Silver Desk Stand would look superb on any desk or would enhance any collection.

Condition:

Used / Excellent

There is no damage and no repairs.

Two retaining nuts missing.

The tray has a slight rock.

Dimensions:

Length – 8.25” (210mm) / Width – 3.5” (88mm) / Height (Tray) – 2.0” (50mm)

Weight (Tray only) – 197gm / 6.32ozt
