Description

A Lovely satinwood and walnut banded Victorian Period antique partners desk. Having a rectangular top banded in satinwood and walnut and retaining the charming original Moroccan leather writing surface. With an arrangement of eight mahogany lined drawers (top right drawer being a double). The drawer fronts in satinwood, banded in walnut and retaining their original beautifully turned drawer pulls. The reverse having three mahogany lined drawers and twin shaped panelled cupboards opening to reveal two shelves in each, the shelves veneered in shaped mahogany an extra sign of the stunning quality of this piece. Supported on a satinwood veneered plinth with inset castors. English circa 1870

Dimensions: 51" wide x 32" deep x 30" high (knee hole 17" wide x 23" high)

Condition: This desk is in wonderful original condition, cleaned and waxed
