Georgian Style Mahogany Corner Armchair C.1900.

Description

Superb quality George II style mahogany corner armchair c.1900. Curved backrest and arms with a shaped cresting rail, very attractive pierced backsplats and turned supports. Loose seat pad retaining the original leather upholstery with unusual tooled floral decoration. Raised on a carbriole front leg with carved detail at the knee and a ball and claw foot. Label for the celebrated Manchester Department store Kendal, Milne & Co. to the underside and stamped with the serial number M3471. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
