This Edwardian mahogany camel back sofa is upholstered in fine English leather.

The mahogany sofa has the classic shape of a Chippendale piece, with the camel humpback, square moulded legs and with the pierced fretted stretchers joining the legs.

We have used our specialist upholsterers and leather craftsmen to completely strip this back to the frame and then to bring it back to this wonderful finish.

The leather is not off a pre coloured roll as you would find elsewhere but it is hand coloured, before being antiqued, finished with great skill and care.

The Edwardian mahogany camel back sofa has hundreds of brass headed studs tapped in individually, each one taking skill and patience to do this laborious job.

The loose cushion is feather filled, making this a very comfortable sofa to relax on.

Under the seat at the front apron, the studwork has made decorative panels and then little motifs.
