Description

A fabulous example of a solid sterling silver spirit kettle.

Hallmarked throughout for Birmingham 1905,with the maker's mark of Elkington & Co Ltd. The kettle stand has four splay feet which stand squarely upon the surface. The kettle is attached by one hinge, under the spout with Original silver security pins and chains.

This magnificent antique Victorian sterling silver spirit kettle has a large bulbous shaped form and has a vacant cartouche to either side.

The total bulbous portion of the kettle is embellished with exceptional chased floral rose sprays accented with scrolling borders.

The silver is in excellent condition, with no tears or dents.
