Mytton Antiques - Jerrard Nares has dated this piece to the 1750s.
The plate within an ogee quarter cut moulding, finished with gilt leaf slips, and re-entrant corners. The body in two stepped stages, the feather banded drawers each with a brass engraved escutcheon, and knob handle, in front of the oak linings. The drawers surrounded by rounded quarter cut moulding, and the whole raised up on four bracket feet.
