Most probably emanating from the Channel Islands circa 1825. This eye-catching piece of bedroom furniture offers comprehensive storage capacity. A bank of 6 long graduating drawers are flanked by a pair of cupboards. The top drawer is fitted and all drawers are lockable (key supplied). The two cupboards are fitted with paneled doors (also lockable, key supplied), flanked by reeded styles, which open to reveal fitted interiors. The right hand cupboard with full height hanging space fitted with hanging pegs and a (later) brass hanging rail. The left hand cupboard with half height hanging space fitted with hanging pegs and with a series of trays beneath.

This wardrobe is embellished with stunning crispy carved pediments of the highest quality. The drawers are fitted with their original solid brass handles. Whilst of generous proportions this wardrobe is not so tall as to not fit into more modern homes. At just over 6 feet high, with the top of the drawers at 4 1/2 feet , it is very accessible. Offered for sale in excellent original condition, with a mellow colour and patina, ready to go straight into the home. Splits down into 5 sections for ease of installation.
