The stone is secured in a four claw square collet with an open gallery, allowing plenty of light to pass through this very lively diamond. Six (three each side) round brilliant cut diamonds are set in the shoulders, their whiteness contrasting beautifully with the soft yellow of the centre. Leads to a slim, slightly knife-edge shank

Accompanied by a diamond grading report from HRD Antwerp (#190000156861).
Cut – Old mine cut, with round brilliant cuts in the shoulders.
Colour – M (F to G in the shoulders).
Clarity – SI2 – the diamond is clean to the naked eye. (VS1 to VS2 in the shoulders).

Carat – 1.79 (with a further approximate 0.12 carat in the shoulders).
Circa – 1950.
Measurements – The diamond is 7.54 x 6.79mm and sits 6.6mm from the finger.
Size – N (UK) or 6.5 (US). Complimentary sizing is available, can go up or down.

Metal – Platinum. Stamped 10% IRID PLAT (10% iridium, 90% platinum) and tests as such.
