Description

This elegant solid silver photo frame is dated Chester 1905. It very much reflects the Art Nouveau movement with typical sinuous decorations, featuring irises on a bark effect background. It stands tall at 9 inches and is very decorative.

Vacant reserve.

Original light oak back and easel.

Hallmarks:

J& RG for J & R Griffin (Joseph & Richard Griffin)

Chester Assay Mark.

Date letter "e" for 1905.

Lion Passant.

Condition:

Reasonable

Silver frame with minor unevenness and creases commensurate with age.
