Description

A lovely 18th century arm chair constructed from Mahogany and having a later decorative 19th century floral seat. The chair has a finely carved and fretted Gothic back with carved foliage. The swept arms having small carved cartouche like bosses to the fronts with foliage trailing behind, the plain legs are joined by a H- stretchers, the backs of the front legs typically chamfered.

The seat could do with being reupholstered or left as it is, in its country house state. Overall the chair has fantastic colour and patination and is in excellent condition.
