Pretty Antique French Blue Guilloche Enamel Opera Glasses - Red Stones

Description

An absolutely delightful pair of French Opera glasses dating to around 1900 with a gilded frame and Mother of Pearl wheel to adjust.

They are decorated with a very pretty guilloche enamel with swirling engine turning underneath creating a most appealing design. Underneath the enamel the barrels are decorated with gold foliate swags interspersed with sparkling red stones or crystals, quite beautiful.

To be accurate there is one minuscule imperfection to surface, so small almost cannot be seen in the photo but mentioned purely for accuracy.

All in perfect working order measuring 3 3/4" x 1 5/8" opening to 2 1/8".
