In France, where they originate, they are called ‘Drageoir’ or ‘Confiturier’.

The body is Baluster shaped and of blue flashed glass in the Bohemian taste. It is supported on a solid silver pedestal base with cast details.
The silver handle is looped and decorated. The cover is decorated in matching motifs to the base and there is a spoon aperture. An outstanding and rare piece for the collector, with a practical use. Dimensions below.
