Description

A French striking carriage clock. A brass case with an enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. The enamel dial is signed by retailer 'Hamilton & Inches' of Edinburgh. The presentation inscription to the base is to 'D Robertson, Town Clerk from the Provost Magistrates & Councillors, Leith 1918.'
