Antique Arts & Crafts Oak Combination Wardrobe C1890

Antique Arts & Crafts Oak Combination Wardrobe and dating from around 1890. Constructed from solid oak it has a flared cornice top with dental moulding and with carved roundall to the centre above a deep crossbanded frieze. To one side there is a full length bevelled mirrored door with original copper handle and with internal hanging space with brass rail. To the other side is a small panelled cupboard door with moulded edges and central carved stylised Arts & Crafts panel to the centre and with original copper handle. Internally there are three removable shelves. This is above three drawers all of which are oak lined with original copper handles. To the base there is a long deep drawer which is oak lined and with original copper handles. All of the handles have heart shaped beaten copper plates with ring handles. The wardrobe is raised on styled stepped block legs joined by a shaped and pierced frieze.
