Description

A 19th Century Miniature Cabinet, Vitrine.

The vitrine in mahogany, brass and marble. The marble top surrounded by a raised brass frieze, decorated with pierced balusters, and down swept to the leading edge. The body with tow doors, the glass held within brass ogee mouldings. The interior with tow brass faced shelves, and velvet lining. The doors flanked by brass inlaid flutes. The sides with glazed panels likewise with brass moulds, and flanked by brass inset flutes. The whole standing on four waisted and rope twist edged brass feet.

Height 15 1/4 inches, 39cm.

Width 12 1/2 inches, 32cm.

Depth 5 inches, 13cm.
