Fine & rare George III mahogany reading or drawing table with top rising on an easel, original bookrest, drop flaps, raised on taper legs to castors, with a single drawer.

n.b. An almost identical pair of reading tables can be found in the library of Kingston Lacy House (N.T.) Wimborne, dating to the renovations of 1778.
