A Drocourt Strike & Repeat Carriage Clock

Description

A quality French carriage clock by noted maker Drocourt. The original case gilding with a large glass aperture to the top. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a bell numbered 16882. Retailers name engraved to the back 'E WHITE PARIS'. The original lever escapement. 'Moon' blued steel hands. The serial number dates this to circa 1879.
