Description

A fabulous large English tea caddy made from English silver plate by the top-notch silversmith, Atkin Brothers fully marked on the underside.

The beautifully shaped body has an attractive embossed and engraved decoration and the hinged lid is topped with a carved wooden finial.

The underside is also lucky enough to have been struck on the underside with a design registration number (120880) which allows us to date it accurately to the year 1889, a true Victorian example

Excellent condition measuring 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 5 1/2" tall to top of finial.
