Description

Fine quality little Art Deco era marble top side cabinet by Guerin freres of Paris c.1925. Unusual inverted breakfront and caddy top design. Original 1¼" thick grey marble top over three drawers with moulded fronts and a three door cupboard fitted with a single long shelf inside. Beautifully figured burr elm veneers across the piece with inlaid stringing and rosewood crossbanding to the door fronts and sides. Exceptional and original brass mounts, handles and escutcheon plates. Note also the matching detail on the keys for the middle drawer and side doors. Mahogany drawer linings and the Guerin freres signature label inside the centre drawer. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops. Key supplied.
