~~ Excellent condition, fully overhauled ~~

A beautiful antique French ormolu mounted white marble boudoir clock. Its of elegant Louis XVI style, classical columns wrapped with foliage and an urn to the top with handles and a floral finial. To the front is a motif of a quiver of arrows and a flaming torch.

The dial is porcelain enamel on copper with very finely fretted hands and convex glass.

The French movement is of high quality and is in excellent clean and running condition having been fully overhauled by our clockmaker. Pendulum is original. It runs for 8 days and strikes the hours and halves on a bell. We have a video of the clock running, please ask.

Condition of the case is excellent, the ormolu is beautifully clean and bright with some slight wear and discolouration. The marble is also very good with a good colour and polish, some slight nibbles to the edges and some very slight staining. The dial is also in excellent condition with no damage.

Complete with original pendulum, bell and a suitable key. Full setting up instructions supplied if required.
