The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Georgian era.
Delicate gilded decoration inside the cup and centre of the saucer of arching garlands with hanging bellflowers. Both pieces marked in iron red "Chamberlains Regent China, Worcester & New Bond Street London".

The cup measures 6.5cm (2. 1/2") high, 8.5cm (3 3/8") rim to rim and 10.5cm (4 1/8") rim to handle. The saucer measures 3.2cm (1 1/4") high and 14.3cm (5 5/8") wide. Condition is very good but there is a hairline to the rim of the saucer. No other damage or restoration. Some rubbing to the gilding in the centre of the saucer and a very little bit inside the cup in places and to the band around the foot. The enamelling is in very good order and very little wear to the coloured ground also.
