A superb solid silver Tea Strainer and stand, beautifully designed. The stand is a lovely plain polished silver with a protruding band around the base edge. Clear hallmarks are visible on one side for the Birmingham Assay Office with a date mark for 1965 and Lion Passant indicating the finest sterling silver, along with the silver maker''s marks for Lanson Ltd.
The strainer sits perfectly on the top with a nicely pierced bowl and beautifully designed handles. The hallmarks are also visible underneath the bowl (the date mark for the Strainer is 1966).
A most attractive Tea Strainer; stands nice and level and is a good solid weight.
Condition: In great vintage collector''s condition.
