Description

A fabulous pair of French made World War 1 British Officers Military binoculars with both the brass on the binoculars and the leather case with the British military crows foot mark. They were manufactured by the creme de la creme of makers and signed on both eyepieces, LeMaire, Paris. The case is also stamped with the retailer "G. Battle & Co. 1916".

The binoculars are clad in a lovely textured leather remaining in excellent condition, now over 100 years old and a true antique.

They have integral sun shades which when extended, the fully opened binoculars measures 7 1/2" in length; when closed up they measure 5 3/8" x 2 1/8" x 4 3/4". The leather case measures 5 3/4" x 3 1/2" x 6 5/8".
