Description

A beautiful and most elegant English vanity jar or powder bowl, perfect for either a period or contemporary setting with it's simplicity and elegant combination of materials.

The domed tortoiseshell top has a wonderful shiny patina showing off it's markings with colours ranging from golden cognac to rich chocolate brown.

There is nice hefty solid or sterling silver rim which is hallmarked for London 1929 , together with the makers mark H A & Co.

Superb condition, measuring 3" tall, the bowl with a max. diameter of 3 1/4" and a lid diameter of 2 3/4".
