Description

A heavy brass bell with the letters AS 1942 and an arrow pointing to the centre, that we believe to be a WW2 Military issue handbell.

The bell measures 27cm in height and the width across the open end is 13cm and it weighs approximately 1kg; it has the original wooden handle and clapper.

The central part of the bell has a beaten brass look with smooth edging at the top and bottom, and the handle shows some wear but still has the decorative brass finial at the top.
