Description

An unusual carved spice cupboard or hanging wall cabinet. With twin panelled doors carved with central lozenges surrounded by carved foliage in a 17th century style. The cornice is carved with flower heads and features a carved letter “B” to the middle. The doors open to reveal 3 fixed shelves and three small drawers with recessed brass handles. It’s in a heavy solid tropical hardwood, and is probably Indian or South Asian in origin.
