Description

Superb quality late 19th.c. walnut desk or library table c.1880. 43" x 25½" top with burgundy leather insert and a deep moulded edge. Over a single slim oak lined drawer within in the crisply carved gadroon apron continued on the sides and rear. Fabulous base featuring a repeating arched colonnade with seven turned and reeded column supports. Over moulded stretchers raised on carved scrolling acanthus feet. Excellent colour and condition, simply cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
