Dutch Mahogany Jardiniere. Circa 1810

18th century
Description

Top quality Dutch early 19th century mahogany and brass line inlaid jardiniere with curved slatted sides onto short turned column and standing on shaped platform base with original brass lion's paw feet. Note the shaped pear drops between each slat at the top and brass line inlay to top ring and on platform base. Comes complete with original brass liner and swing handle. All in superb un-touched original condition with no repairs. Fine rich colour with good waxed patina.

Size; 18" high, 13" diameter at top.
