A Good Set of 8 Rosewood Regency Period Dining Chairs of Gillows Design

Description

A good set of 8 rosewood Regency Period dining chairs of Gillows design. Each chair is constructed using solid rosewood throughout and having a curved top rail with small applied roundels and a further finely carved central support with rebated uprights. Having cane seats with loose reversible squab cushions re-upholstered in a silk damask. Raised on typical Regency Period Gillows designed fluted front supports and sabre rear supports. English circa 1820

Dimensions: 32" high x 18.5" wide x 20" deep (seat height 17")

Condition: This set of chairs are in superb condition, a wonderful colour and patination
