This is a very elegant Victorian enamelled silver and glass dressing table jar. The panelled oval clear glass body fitted with a silver and pale pink guilloche enamel lid. The lid is dated London 1883 and bears the marks of Thomas Jones Watson who was a dress case fittings maker from Goswell Road, London. It was most probably enamelled, later, in the Art Deco era.
