A superb quality and substantial William IV figured mahogany linen press having a stepped and moulded cornice above the cross banded frieze. The 2 beautifully figured mahogany doors having well carved decorative corner fans and inlaid ivorine escutcheons. The doors open to reveal the 2 original and adjustable shelves both having mahogany facias with boxwood stringing. The base section having 4 long, graduated and cock beaded drawers each having wonderful book matched figured mahogany and turned pulls again with ivorine escutcheons. The whole raised on 4 short turned feet with shaped frieze and complete with working locks and keys. Condition - Very good with original patina. Delivery to most of U.K. mainland £95.
