A very large and deep framed Victorian Gesso and Giltwood overmantle mirror with a highly decorated frame and original (wide) bevel edged mirror. The mirror plate has some small areas of foxing/wear/shadowing around the edges (please see photographs). The moulding is very near complete (some minor pieces of foliate missing from the corners). Appears to have been over-painted completely at some stage - no obvious signs of repair. This piece can be hung either way around however the brackets and support is currently configured for vertical hanging.
