The rear of the seat is engraved with the maker's initials "T.A".
The chair is approximately 31 1/2" (80cm) high and it is 25 1/2" (66cm) wide across the arms. The seat is 19" (48cm) deep and 17 1/2" (44cm) high.
It is in good condition and is a strong and sturdy chair. It has developed a nice aged patina over the years. The chair is not without a few small marks and signs of age and use but no major damages. There has been a good old repair to one arm and an old repair to what looks like a natural knot in the wood at the back. It displays very nicely and has been cleaned and lightly polished and is ready for use.
