Antique 18TH Century Period Oak & Mahogany Small Linen Press and dating from around the time of George 111 c1780. Constructed f4om solid oak it has a cornice top above a deep mahogany crossbanded frieze above two moulded panelled doors each with mahogany crossbanding to the edge of each panel and with original brass lock escutcheon and working key. Internally there are three original and adjustable shelves. The base has a moulded edge above two short drawers over three long graduating drawers all of which are pine lined with original brass handles and lock escutcheons and with mahogany crossbanded edge to the drawer fronts. It is moulded to the base and stands on bracket feet. The top separates from the base for ease of transporting.
MEASURES: 86” HIGH X 21.5” DEEP x 45.5” WIDE AND INTERNAL DEPTH TO THE TOP 11.5”
