Exceptional Antique Large Leather Suitcase with Chubb Lock

1900 - 1920
Description

An exceptional quality Antique leather suitcase of large and heavy proportions and with Chubb Patent Hasp/Lock, with various straps, reinforced corners and brass mounts, the underside with two wooden staves/runners and the interior with original blue and white ticking.

In good, unrestored, condition overall, wear commensurate with age but no leather rot, the straps have some old repairs, the strap to the lock cover at the front has its end missing, otherwise all complete.
