Description

Primitive early 19th.c. chair c.1800. Unusually shaped elm top rail on four long oak spindles with a simple turned detail. Over a 2" thick elm slab seat (just 11" front to back) raised on three splayed legs which have been shaved with a draw knife rather than turned. Good condition and lovely colour.
