Description

A large elegant C19th green painted and parcel gilt salon stool of generous proportions in the Louis XVI style; the unusual shaped circular padded seat upholstered in red/pink silk damask above the serpentine seat frame with carved giltwood shells and acanthus leaves raised on carved scrollwork cabriole legs terminating in scrolled feet.
