Quiet Street Antiques of Bath has dated this piece to the 1870s.
The superb case is of 'gorge' design, engraved all over, with bevelled glass panels to all sides, whilst the eight-day movement, which retains its original platform lever escapement, strikes hours and half-hours on a bell, repeating hours at will, with a separate working alarm train.

Good enamel dials with a finely engraved mask. Perfect working order. 4.75ins high (handle down).
Although not signed, there are a number of features that point towards Drocourt as the maker.
