This wonderful wine or Champagne cooler is made of excellent quality silver plate and is by renowned French silversmith Christofle. Dating from the mid 20th century, the wine cooler is the Ormesson model from Christofle's Gallia collection and has a stylish look with shell side handles. The silver plate is in excellent condition and it is a good heavy weight.

A great usable barware item that will also look stunning on your dinner table when entertaining guests.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: Mid 20th century.

Hallmarks: Marked to base with the maker's marks for Christofle: Christofle France, The Christofle Chess piece OC mark, Collection Gallia.

Height - 23 cm (9") approx.

Diameter: 19 cm (7 1/2") approx.

Diameter including side handles: 25 cm (9 3/4") approx.

Weight: 1904 grams.

Condition: Excellent used vintage condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only light surface scratches. The inside is very clean. Bottle not included.
