Description

This excellent quality silver plate wine or Champagne cooler is by renowned French silversmith Christofle. Dating from the mid 20th century, the wine cooler is from Christofle's Gallia collection and has side ring handles. The cooler is a very nice heavy weight, the silver plate is in excellent condition and the original retailer's label is on the bottom.

A wonderful usable barware item that will also look stunning on your dinner table or at your party.

Material: Silver plate.

Date: Mid 20th century.

Hallmarks: Marked to base with the maker's marks for Christofle: Prod Christofle. Rooster. Gallia. France. The Christofle Chess piece OC mark.30.

Height - 20.5 cm (8") approx.

Diameter: 19 cm (7 1/2") approx.

Diameter including side handles: 24 cm (9 1/2") approx.

Weight: 1548 grams.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with only light signs of use in keeping with age. Silver plate in very good condition with only light surface scratches and a few small marks. The inside is very clean with a few spots/marks. Bottle not included.
