Walter Hunt Oil over Canvas (1861-1941)
Humorous kitchen scene is simply charming. Large signed & dated 1880 by this famous English artist.
Hunts are collected worldwide. Master painters some with humorous connotations, this being one of those. This work depicts two children, one firing a bow and arrow at an apple placed on the head of their slightly concerned but ever trusting pet dog.

A large work which is in lovely condition and has an old insurance valuation from 1993 for £8,000.00 GBP.
