Marylebone Antiques has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The doors have brass grills over fabric. There’s very slight marking on the fabric, so please enlarge the images to see for yourselves. Personally, I wouldn’t change it as it’s all in keeping & looks fine. However, it wouldn’t cost that much to replace. The inside is fitted out with two glass shelves & there’s a pull out glass section for serving drinks on. There is a drawer below the cupboard & it has fine dovetails. We haven’t had this piece re-polished like most our products, because the polish is fine, with only a slight bit of fade hear the top, which is all part of the character. This cabinet comes apart in two sections, so transportation is easy.
