Antique Victorian Mahogany Display Showcase by F. Maund & E. Berg

Description

Fine quality antique Victorian solid mahogany showcase in excellent original condition. I believe it was possible made as a shop fitting, but because it’s quite small, it would work well in the home. The cabinet makers F.Maund & E.Berg were well know for high quality showcases. The label in the bottom is shown in on of the images & says ‘F. MAUND & E. BERG (SHOWCASES) LTD, SHOWCASES & SHOPFITTINGS etc., 175/9, OLD ST., LONDON, EC1’. This cabinet has four glass shelves on adjustable brackets & two brass handles that turn to lock.
