Description

Fine quality small antique solid walnut desk in excellent original condition dating from around the 1880’s period. The back is finished & polished, so it’s free standing. This desk has some wonderful features, including a beautifully fitted out right hand drawer with many partitions. Those of you with an eagle eye may spot a small piece of wood missing on the back partition of this drawer, however we do have it & it will be fixed back on. There’s a tooled leather writing surface, two drawers with fine dovetails, original brass handles & locks. There is a lot of incised carvings on the front & down all the finely turned legs, which sit on brown porcelain casters.
