Large Antique Solid Silver Salver

1920 - 1940
Description

A fine example of a large solid silver salver dish with Chippendale style wavy rim set on 4 hooved feet. It is stylish and good quality, weighing approximately 1275g.

It is clearly hallmarked for Carrington & Co, London, 1937.

It is in excellent condition for its age. There are no major damages and it displays beautifully. There are some faint surface marks and very light surface scratches and minor signs of age and use but nothing detrimental. It has been gently cleaned and polished and displays beautifully.
