Collinge Antiques has dated this piece to the 1870s.
On an elaborate base with four turned and reeded columns around a large turned finial on swept legs, all ebonised, carved and gilded to match. With amboyna tops to the legs and original white ceramic castors. Some obvious old wear to the top, otherwise very good condition, cleaned and polished in our workshops.
