Powered by the legendary calibre 321 movement considered by watchmakers and collectors as one of the finest chronographs ever made.
The movement has just been professionally serviced and comes with a 2 year warranty. Its curently running within plus or minus 3 seconds per day and the amplitude is over 280 degrees, well inside original Omega specification. All functions work correctly and set and reset is crisp and precise.

The stepped dial is completely original and untouched, it has the most georgeous mustard yellow aged lume. The lume on the hands has also aged to the same beautiful tone.
The large seconds hand is the rare teardrop end design, this would have been one of the last speedmasters to be fitted with this hand.

The Bezel is the original dot over 90 and is near mint perfect, without doubt the best we have ever seen.
The glass is the original hexalite and has a few minor marks and scratches.
One of the pushers has been replaced at some point in its life. Its the only thing we can find that is not original.

The case has never been polished or refinished.
The flat back is almost perfect with no damage to the opening indents and the Hippocamus emblem is clear and bright.
The bracelet appears to have been replaced sometime during the early 1980s but it is the correct reference 1171 as originally specified for this model, all of the links are present and it will fit a wrist upto 8 inches.

The watch comes with its original extra deep Omega 1501 box.
All of these original details add up to one of the best 321 speedmasters you will find.
It has been professionally serviced and overhauled the process is highly detailed and meticulous.

The movement is stripped down to its component parts and each part is examined under high magnification for signs of wear, any worn parts are replaced with genuine manufacturers parts. Each part is then thoroughly cleaned in a three stage ultrasonic cleaning process.

The movement is then fully assembled using manufacturers approved oils and lubricants and is carried out in a clean room environment. The movement is then checked and adjusted for accurate time keeping. The cases are polished and sealed.

Obviously this is not a cheap or quick process which is why our watches are sometimes a little more expensive than others but you can be assured our watches will give you reliable and dependable service and will not require further service for many years.
