The frame is very decorative ormolu and it has a fine mesh screen incorporated to stop any damage to the area surrounding the fire
The style is typical French Rococo with swirls and shells and a bagpipe and quiver motif in the centre, it stands on 4 splayed feet, with the winter looming over us this one is just in time to be put to work
The Fire Guard is 30” high, 30” wide and 10” deep
