A Gorgeous Victorian Silver & Cranberry Glass Stem Vase

Description

An attractive silver mounted graduated cranberry vase dating to the end of the Victorian era. The body is formed of ribs in a spiral effect, very much like a rope twist. The graduated cranberry fades towards the base and the vase is waisted to the middle. The rim is finished with a silver hallmarked mount which unusually, has a rebate into the neck of the vase.
