The compact opens to reveal the original bevelled mirror recessed into the lid, the original powder pad and subtle gift engraving added in 1945. A wonderful, usable and collectable example. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no chips or splits to the silver or enamel and no deterioration to the mirror. There is some light scratching to the surface of the enamel, commensurate with age and use.
Hallmarks :- Clear and readable, part mark to the thumb grip also.
